On July 13, 2007, Suzanne Vega's "Virtual Ludlow Street" officially opened in Second Life, and was host to her first "Beauty & Crime" listening party. Suzanne was interviewed, both in real and virtual life, by blogger and journalist Mark Wallace, editor of the Second Life Herald and 3pointD.com.
The waiting list for the event numbered in the hundreds, while the event itself was limited to about 50 fans. Many well known members of Second Life were in attendance, including members of the press and creators of some of the most popular entertainment venues.
